It is proposed to carry out the following studies to provide requisite inputs in preparation of the Maharashtra Natural Resource Management Project (a Phase II Forestry Project-) to be posed to the World Bank for financial assistance:

1. Social and Environmental Impact Assessment.

2. Institutional assessment.

3. Joint Forest Management evaluation.

4. Non-wood Forest Product management and marketing study.

5. Monitoring and Evaluation plan.

All the above five   studies are  individual  assignments.  The   assignment   would require expertise and  rich  experience  of  handling   similar  tasks  for    projects supported by international donor agencies. Interested organizations/ institutions may express their interest in the assignment, accompanied with a brief account of their past experience, expertise available and other relevant details alongwith supporting documents on the following address latest by 20^th June 2002.
