Draft Management Plans are prepared by the concerned Divisional Manager of project division, after verification by the concerned General Manager/Regional Manager and then submitted to the Managing Director. The Managing Director upon verification makes necessary modifications, submits the plans to Government of India through Government of Maharashtra. After obtaining sanction from Government of India, the plans are implemented.

The various proposals are mooted by the different Sectional Heads in their respective fields to the Managing Director for approval. The Sectional Heads takes decisions on those proposals, which are within their delegation of powers. The matters, which require the approval by the Board of Directors, are placed before the Board for approval.

Regarding harvesting works, estimates are prepared by Range Forest Officers, verified by the Assistant Managers, thereafter sanction is accorded by Divisional Managers.

Plantation estimates are prepared by Divisional Managers as per the model rate structure approved by Managing Director. The estimates are sanctioned by the General Manager/Regional Manager. The field activities such as harvesting, sale of forest produce, plantations etc. implemented by Divisional Managers after sanction of the estimates of the sites. The works are verified by the Assistant Managers and Divisional Managers. The monitoring and review of field works is carried out by the concerned General Manager/Regional Manager. The Managing Director takes stock of various activities by organising periodic review meetings.

Certain matters which require approval of the shareholders of the Company are taken up in the General Meeting or the Shareholders as per provisions of the Company’s Act 2013. Similarly, some matters which require the decision of the Government in terms of various directives issued by the Government from time to time are sent to respective Ministry.
